Please state your known problems and issues for your HTC Hero....

1) The HTC Hero distributed in Malaysia has Build Number 2.73.728.5. It does not come with Google Market, but SlideMe, a third rate alternative. I suggest rooting and flashing a new ROM to overcome this.

2) Alarm Clock - Default alarm clock doesn't wake you up if you switch off the phone (unlike most Nokia, SE phones). Also when the alarm rings in the morning you might accidentally pick up the phone and press the volume buttons, which will dismiss the alarm. I wish there was a way to configure the default alarm clock more.

3) I really hate the stock vertical lock/unlock screen. I prefer the Nexus One and iPhone horizontal sliding unlock screens.

sometimes you can see dead pixels on the startup screen (the screen with the little android robot waving) but when you run a pixel checker program, those pixels dont show up... i know confusing...

The speaker is located behind. Whenever somebody calls, I can hardly hear it even in the LOUDEST mode.

My solution = place my phone upside down (Screen facing down)

Good phones are meant to suit you, not the other way around. The new HTC Desire also have back speakers. I do not understand why.

typing on its minute keypad sucks, especially for people with big fingers like me.

Overall speediness is SLOW.

NO BLUETOOTH FILE TRANSFERS. They'd better fix this with the 2.1 update.

GPS lockon SLOW

Wifi strength SLOW. Nowhere near that of ipod touch/iphone
