Im very happy with the Alienware TactX Mouse. The option to change colour to compliment the notebook and the buttons to change the DPI setting and additional customisable buttons. The G9 looks great and the options are nice too smile.gif.

I will update accessories to the first page soon.......

Owners list will be up soon so to those who don't see their name there, do PM me their username and MODEL of AW Owned.....

I'm downloading it now, gonna check it out.
I was told it decreases performance for games, I'll see anyway. I've got nothing better to do anyway =\

What specs you got bro?
*
sorry, been away for assignments.

here's my Alienware M15x (currently processing) specs:
Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Processor 1.6GHz
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
1GB GDDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 260M
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
Slot Load 8X DVD+/-RW Drive with DVD+R double layer write capability (No BluRay)
9-cell primary battery

It's about RM6.7k
tell me if I missed anything.

And I notice in the invoice there's "software for TV Tuner" ? .. and I looked around it said that we can hook up the coaxial antenna to the machine, yet I'm still curious how to do so. LOL.

Judging from his pricing, I think its not on a 3 years Complete cover. But I might be wrong....

@Iksing:

The speakers actually cost me around RM800 when I got them in mid 2008. Its has very clear and crisp sound emphasizing on sound clarity hence its good for music. icon_rolleyes.gif

Here's another problem I have: refresh rate.
It's locked at 59Hz, so when V-Sync is on, it locks the fps to that.

That's a big problem with Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero Aerosmith, that are locked to the screen's refresh rate. With games like Guitar Hero, the timing easily goes a little off when the fps is lower. The game was built to run at 60fps.

When I try to set the screen to 60Hz, it reverts back to 59Hz instantly. How do I lock it to 60Hz?

hmm.gif Never think of upgrading the warranty as I personally think that it is future proof for you. Did you know that 3 years complete warranty includes accidental warranty?

After my first notebook , I've been going for 3years Premium plan for backup and ease of mind. Its an expensive addition to the price but having used few notebooks, I think its worth the investment. Plus, the problems with my last DELL came up only after year 1. And since then I have had no problems changing stuff, even those which I didn't really wanted to change but did it as a recommendation from the DELL Engineers and Technicians.... smile.gif

The reason why I didn't bought the 3 year warranty is because I don't have enough budget at that time. But is there a way to upgrade my warranty after I get the products? If it's possible, I might do so in the future when I have money to spare tongue.gif

Anyway, I'm still waiting for the machine to arrive.. it is such a pain sweat.gif

hmm.gif Don't know whether it will be more expensive or not if you want to add your warranty after you receive your product? Ask the experts here!
