guys,if i decide to use a large lcd or led monitor (24" or 27"), would it effect my performance or graphics?

ok here's the thing..

my laptop screen is currently using 1920x1080..so its already full hd..
n all monitors no matter if they are 24" or 27", the full hd resolution is also at 1920x1080..

so..here's where i'm unsure..
will there be any effect since my laptop screen resolution is the same as the larger sized monitors..
