@Marion- Chicken rice balls and cendol!!!!

About marrying in Aussie- It's my inclination to advice ppl abroad not to come back here due to the fact that it's what I would do if I had a choice. I've lived more years abroad than in Malaysia and am more suited that way. Have to stay here for work and business. So, stay abroad if you can  tongue.gif

laugh.gif Noted!

Well of course you'll feel more at home being in Aussie since you spend more years there, no? I love being abroad but I don't know, my heart would come back to here. biggrin.gif

@Marion- No, I spent most of my childhood in US. I spent time in Aussie when I was living in Malaysia and was on those end of year school holidays. I went to live with my cousin in Melbourne.

@chiahau- We roll safely and egos are checked at the door but you must still anticipate the common busted lip and bloodied nose. This happens to everyone on a weekly basis. No broken bones often but I have broken more bones than I can count laugh.gif

In competition yes you would wear a cup. Gloves are not necessary because there is no striking involved. Even MMA gloves in competition in open gloves which exposes nails due to the need to grapple so that's a small risk. Nails must be short though.

Sometimes on open mat days (in house comp) most ppl will just wear their rash guards and shorts but in training we do it traditionally and the Gi is a must. But please don't be confused, we train pure jiu jitsu there and there is not MMA training. MMA training is something I do somewhere else where I put together by boxing and kickboxing background.

Not sure, will get back to you on that. I haven't paid fees since 3 years ago (perks of resident status).

We've done an x-ray on Friday which confirmed no fractures. On Monday we'll be doing an MRI scan to check for tears to soft tissues like ligaments, tendons and muscles. If got also no problem. I've had more broken bones and soft tissue tears than I can remember. Part of the lifestyle.
