hey wanna ask, ptptn is only for local studies right? it does not apply if you are going overseas, am I right? any other source of getting a study loan? i know there is the jpa student loan....i think its pretty good...if they give u a certain amount up-front...take it...and keep it in a bank overseas - from wht i heard from my friends, it will bring u good returns..even better if u already have the money to go overseas...

what to put in your cover letter? well, tell abt yourself...your achievements...that shows your strengths...also...most importantly why you deserve it as mentioned above..dont say financial prolems etc... it makes u seem so desperate and not condifent of yourself...they might sympathize..but they most likely will not choose you. there are a lot of tips on the net...
about study loans...you can try rhb's study loan...they give up to the full value of your home to cover your costs...google is your friend..

QUOTE(Orlando @ Jun 16 2008, 05:09 PM) mind listing out the number of annual scholarships for A-Level graduates?? be it foreign or local.. any info will do.. not to be rude...yes, we all help each other...but asking us to find scholarship info for you? come on man..you want it, put in some effort.. mind searching using google, at least? no offence akira, its best to just call them up...in fact sometimes you call up these gov departments, you get pushed here and there...and they tell u diff things
