can someone be kind enough to tell me things I need to know about JPA scholarship..?
I didn't consider it previously cause im always told that only government university students stand a chance.
But my parents heard from their friends here and there, and asked me quickly apply.
I am eligible for my university scholarship interview.. but it's risky too.
So i hope to know about how this JPA scholarship goes..?
Like the pros and cons..?
And how does it work..? like a scholarship just given out? or they are terms and conditions..?
and datelines? applicaton method..?
THANK YOU
*** I will also research myself.. just hoping for advices from experienced ones
There are 2 types , one is the loan where you will need to pay back after you graduate, I dont think that it is offered locally though as PTPTN is already available, I might be wrong as I dont know much about this, and the another is the scholarship if it still offered this year.I didn't consider it previously cause im always told that only government university students stand a chance.

You will need to work with the government a 4-6 years bond if they call you within a year after you graduate.if they do not call you within a year you will be freed from the bond . Alternatively you can pay off the bond with the private sector with terms and conditions, google talentcorp.
Ya after passing all the requirements , you will just need to fill out a bunch of forms and wait for your offer letter.
Be warned though , if they do call you back to work within a year after you graduate and you refuse to work with them , you will need to pay them the full amount that they sponsored within a short time ,if I am not mistaken.
I am not sure about the process for PIDN but I am guessing that you will need good results like 7-9 A+ for SPM or if you are already in uni the use ur uni results , some ppl do that, koku ,u should know the drill and attend a 3 day assessment camp,
They do offer it to private unis like Monash MMU curtin and Nottingham but I am not sure if Taylor's is in the list.
They will usually release the info and application here http://esilav2.jpa.gov.my/
