Just to add that I found this site really great for 2012 scholarships. It's mainly for local universities and colleges:) http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.htmlBe quick, though. Many deadlines are soon!

QUOTE(jason0124 @ Mar 31 2012, 04:20 PM) Hur? I need to write an essay that day? Somemore I check from net they say got presentation.. Can anyone tell me what we do actually on that day? All scholarship applicants should prepare for the interview by being ready to 1) answer key questions clearly (practice with mock interview!), 2) write an essay (practice by writing an essay on why you should be given the scholarship or on a current issue), 3) do a mock presentation (practice a short speech - to gauge your communication skills). It's worth spending time preparing before you go for the interview. Lots of good candidates all vying for a limited number of scholarships.

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Apr 4 2012, 08:22 PM) Hi guys, does anyone know about the procedure for applying for PTPTN loans for Masters? Is there a conversion to a scholarship if you have a First Class Honours Masters? I believe the conversion of loans to scholarship under the PTPTN has been abolished. But the debate is ongoing. Check out: http://www.thesundaily.my/news/325880. You can also browse http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.html for info about scholarships, financial aid with links to application forms and procedures. Good luck

QUOTE(100cw @ Apr 15 2012, 10:39 PM) May consider Maxis Scholarship (http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/about_us/scholarship/postgraduate/aboutscholarship.asp) It is available all the time, however the website currently is under maintenance, you may obtain the application form by e-mail the secretarial. Postgraduate scholarships for local universities are typically given by the institution concerned. Many Malaysian universities offer PG scholarships to build their PG schools. You can check http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.html for a list of scholarships. There is usually a bit of tutoring / lab assistant work involved in these Postgraduate scholarships.

QUOTE(brriant250 @ Jun 14 2012, 02:43 AM) Need help here. I have some issues with PTPTN which I can't apply second loan from them, so is there any suggestion for scholarships or education funds to continue my degree? There are various sources of funding available - see for example: http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.html. Note, however. that if you are in the midst of your degree, it is actually harder to secure funding. I guess most private institutions use scholarships as a marketing tool to get students to register with them. Nevertheless, there are a number of sources that you can try, including bank loans? I can't tell, though, if you are in a public university. In any case, good luck.

QUOTE(adreina @ Apr 3 2013, 06:40 PM) I checked, most of the scholarship for undergraduates required STPM or A-Levels result. How about those do not study STPM or A-Level but Foundation? Any scholarship given to undergraduates with foundation result? For scholarships with clearly stated deadlines, you can check http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.html. Note that they tend to highlight funding for local private institutions. Good luck!! This post has been edited by Sandy90: Apr 5 2013, 03:53 PM
