There's a Yayasan TM scholarship, my cousin n her friend both being offered by the scholarship for the course of Foundation in MMU Mlk. Fully paid tuition fee, monthly allowance of RM 450, annual return flight for sarawak student...as well as sabah..

But the problems is attached with bond for 1 yr sponsor tie with 2 yrs working..that means 5 yrs to get degree in engineering, must work for TM for 10 yrs...

when is the yayasan TM scholarship's closing date?

smile.gif Hi.. off course u have to start asking whats the pay gonna be like in comparison to your peers who do any other route.. 10 yrs bond can sometimes be viewed as 10 yrs job security. Look towards the exit point. What are your options if u leave the company after 10 yrs.

And I hope the scholarship is for some thunder specialist post and not a humdrum subject like accountancy where your peers (of the same course but no bond) can climb and jump company and leap well above the pay after 10 yrs working.. do consider these.

I doubt it matters. I've heard of families with a few kids under JPA/Petronas..

Woahh.. there are like 37 pages here and I malas to read all of them. I only read the last 3 pages.

I want to ask about YTM loan and scholars. Anybody here are a graduate and a YTM or loan scholar student ?

I am a graduate and a YTM scholar. If I don't work with TM, how much per month do I have to pay back?

And is it true that loan students don't need to pay in full if they have 3.0++ CGPA??

Hope some one could help me answer te questions..

I have a question regarding the JPA scholarship. Starting 2008, is the overseas scholarship open to A-level leavers? What qualifications are accepted? A-level and STPM only? When is the due date for applying? I think that the due date for this year is over?

But i heard that once you pass the requirement (results), then no interview.. they will just give you the scholarship.
