for UEM scholarships,
Is it limited for 1st year, 1st semester intake only?

since the options in local scholarship form are :-
1) STPM/Matriculation
2) SPM or equivalent

anyone have any info of this?

do you guys normally apply scholarships with your actual A-level results or just the predicted grades provided by the institution/school?

My friend is curious as he is going to start his AS next month, and his A-level course lasts about two years.

So he would only receive his actual full results at around August, way after the application date for almost all scholarships offered to Malaysians. Hopefully you guys can enlighten me on this, ty!

I use my actual result to apply but according to my friend who applied for oversea universities through UCAS, they used the forecast result. Never try never know. I would suggest your friend to try applying using forecast result. All the best smile.gif

too bad the MSc Civil Engineering seems to be a relatively new course, although it has similar modules with the existing accredited MEng program.

wrote to the sponsorship unit in nottingham and was informed that the university only offer scholarship for international students from developing and third world countries for the course.

and the only option available to malaysian is MyMaster under Ministry of Higher Education, which is ........

dissapointed sad.gif

Too bad... then you might want to see whether any NGO offers scholarship to this course.

But isn't High Achiever Award is given to everyone who meets the criteria? I thought Malaysians are eligible for that...
