QUOTE(bad melatonin @ Apr 24 2010, 10:20 PM) me too looking for another lens actually. im thinking of getting either 55-200 or 18-200. but few ppls suggested me getting 55-200 instead of 18-200 since i already hv 18-55. still deciding now... I'm not that rich now, so I get an add on range of 55-200 1st, haha... till I got extra money den I sell off this 2 lens n convert to 18-200, but from wat I heard from the Nikon Sifu at Nikon Centre Lens Section, he said 18-55+55-200 performs better at their respective focal length compared to the all in 18-200... 18-200 is for lazy ppl, haha... I know soon I will b one of them coz tired of changing lens =Dbali The Nasi ayam d presto is a famous common dish there?? or need to find out myself? lol.... QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Apr 24 2010, 10:57 PM) Yea D40 is very good for beginners because it's easy to use and it produces brilliant pictures even though it's just an entry level. I learnt a lot when I used my D40 as my 1st DSLR~ moderate shutter is around how much? below 10k?Too bad I've just sold mine. Depending on condition, a well maintained D40 with moderate shutter count (numbers of times of the shutter being pressed) is around RM1100~1300. |

QUOTE(shinjun @ Apr 25 2010, 12:20 AM) Bulb mode, you press how long then the shutter open how long loh. That said, you need to continuously pressing your shutter button(cause vibration) if you don't have release cable or remote. I see..... swt, y don tell me juz now, so easy to eplain, hahaa.... like that sure nit cable or remote la, long exposure I oso afraid will cause vibration the the cam on the moment i click on the shutter.May I know the Nikon ML-L3 got half way pressing for autofocus? I notice those 3rd party one does have it... I'm aiming the octopus all in one + wireless flash trigger capability |

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Apr 25 2010, 01:09 AM) lolz, if like that nobody want SB600 lor YO.... luckily.... lol, if not I regret buying my nissin laa.... I think mine is with latest firmware, the seller told me with Nissin word on the flash stand is new version can trigger wireless =) Juz D5k body cant trigger the flash, u don use wireless triggering flash?now even Di622 with latest firmware can be radio triggered, that is, using radio waves from body built-in commander, or SB900 or SU800 specs list: Di622 - optical n radio trigger SB600 - radio trigger only SB900 - optical n radio trigger (optical trigger means triggered by pop up flash) Added on April 25, 2010, 1:10 am long exposure = bulb mode |

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Apr 25 2010, 01:14 AM) SB800 or SB900, problm solved Optical trigger cant do some effects rite, coz ur body flash is lighting the subject up directly, unlike placing the flash on 1 side, n taking the subject at another sidei do utilise SB900's optical trigger function, used it sumtimes Added on April 25, 2010, 1:16 am like i said, u wan use bulb mode, go for wired remote wireless i dunno can or not, but even if can means u have to keep holding the button pressed to keep the shutter open |
