bro, my budget was rm7xx to buy the 35mm...then suddenly my mom said choose a nikon lens with the price range between rm1400-1500...i was undecided and go for AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED ...bro dvlz is the lens easy to sell???

How nice of your mum... if i were you... sure buy 50mm F/1.8 and 55-200mm nikkor lens...

yup..i know that..but on entry level body, u guys just cant autofocus with that...and the only choice u guy have is 50mm1.4G and that would cost around 1.8k...

answer my question...
why u wanna buy lens??

if u wanna shoot inanimate objects then ok. for anything else, no AF quite hard..time spent on focusing is better spent on composing

both are good choices. personally i prefer 18-70 + 70-300 rather than 18-200, or 18-105 + SB600 + go vacation

I would use 50mm if there are stationary model or people which i will be shooting... so i can slowly focus lols....

@CloudKee Whats the purpose of your lens?

but you could end up getting complaint such as "hey,can faster ar??i very tired already"

turn off The Af on your kitty lense , do it manually , then u know how hard it is.
