This is really my first time staying in a condo unit; has been staying on landed properties throughout my life until now.
So, I wonder how is it consider as having a noisy above neighbor?
For instance, every evening, listen to them dragging tables and chairs on the floor; dropping things on the floor - is this normal?
and, what if it happens in 5sth in the morning? is tat too over?
or, am i over-sensitive to sound?

If you can't bear with it, don't live in condo. Or get a pent house to stay.

You are too sensitive Actually about dragging table/dropping on floor are quite common for condo living. But if it always happen, something might be wrong. I will make report to the management if anything too noisy coming from 12am to 5.30am.

I got a 'nice' neighbour on top who always smoke at the balcony. Can you imagine what will happened to my balcony? all the Cigarette ash drop, make me always gotto clean my balcony else will blow in. P/s: For those stay at condo, please consider your neighbour surrounding you......

QUOTE(zeese @ Mar 31 2010, 11:47 AM) drag & drop is not a good practice.. Ya, what a nice term. 'Drag & drop' is good for software design or Windows based, but not 'Condo based' please....!

leongal ur case is still not so serious... can u imagine around 12am - 1am during school holiday, those kids dont need go to school, they playing music, playing games, running here and there and then laughing and shouting until 2am?? OMG... i experienced it last long year end school holiday... i totally cannot fall as sleep... my hubby even go to the neighbour and tell their parent... but thank god, their parent really "did" their part by warning their children that day, they settle down after that.. but somehow... the next few days, the same thing happen again... what can we do?? so i force myself to sleep, if cannot sleep use "things" to cover up my ear

hey people,
i bought "flet plate" from Daiso - where it is sticked on the underneath of your furniture legs; i guess it really does help reduce dragging sound....u might want to try out; 12 pieces (3 chairs/ tables) for RM 5....
