So how do i burn the .avi file? I am using NTI CD & DVD Maker. Do i select as burn VCD or as DATA? Cos when I select as VCD, its pops up error message saying not supported mpeg type. Means have to burn as DATA izzit? If burn as DATA, can use on DVD player (china mari types) or not?

Thank you...I'll look into it. BTW, using K-Lite Gspot Codec information tool, I found out that my movie file type is actually of "ogg media" file type but when downloaded from Torrent site information given was that this file is an ".avi" file. Any reason for this?

AVI is just a container. So it can contain any combination of audio/video codecs. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVI

It's even been posted in this thread before: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...dpost&p=3677765
