QUOTE(dEviLs @ Apr 8 2010, 11:22 AM) hmm..i am totally not against the idea of leaving a forward as a measure to prevent opponent's def line pushing up - what i am trying to say that you need a right man to do that, Rooney will be perfect if he stays fit , unfortunately he doesnt In a way, having a forward gives Bayern the defensive mentality. Because you never know, out of the blue sky Nani might whack a ball and Rooney manages to get to it, AND ITSAGOL!Berba ? he cant even protect the ball well when we are playing with 11men - who do you think the bayern's defender will be more afraid of at that point of time - 1) a slacker berba or 2) nani who poses constant threat whole night ? well maybe we just have different views.. That means that Bayern will still have to defend regardless. By putting Rooney out, they know that, "PSH NO ROONEY ATTACK LORRRR" |

Fuh. Watching Robben's goal was a magnificent one. Serves United for not placing players at each post. That could've been avoided.

And the fact that 3 PLAYERS was unmarked OUTSIDE of the box was amazing. United cannot defend against a set piece properly huh.

But then again, Nani's two goals were also good ones, especially the first goal. It's like he asked Joe Cole, "HEY MANG HOW U DO IT I WAN TO KNOW"
Either way, 2nd half was an utter disappointment for me judging by the shots and sent offs and the ridiculousness. Rafael sent off and he brings off Rooney with O'Shea (WELCOME BACK!) and putting on Berba in the 80th minute. What a joke. What. A. Joke. But I understand though with the midfielders outscoring Berbatov, who needs him? |

QUOTE(air_mood @ Apr 8 2010, 12:30 PM) Seriously, a few losses and a lot of people are going "we should sell Carrick" or "we should sell Berba" or "SAF should have signed Tevez"...FFS speaking of which.its not only a few losses, even wins we can see how bad these player perform. everyone else does not realise this (probably) because "OMG WE WON LA WHO GIVES A FLYING DONKEY'S SYMPHISIS PUBIS" its only when we lost then the weakness of these players are highlighted. this, of course, is my opinion. but my opinion stands on how manucho should have stayed. i mean. macheda learnt from him on how to be tall, he's also the black pele. come on guys. |

QUOTE(air_mood @ Apr 8 2010, 04:57 PM) The team is not as bad as people make it out to be. It's fine. It's nothing but knee jerk reactions on here and wet dreams of FM muppets mostly. I'll have to admit, it's not not bad, it's good. Just that there are of course a few loose ends in the midfield and a weakest link makes it above average.Oh and Manucho wasn't United quality. |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Apr 8 2010, 05:03 PM) http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=26755234 lol. 2009 posts. And within those links I found something ironic.http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=26755634 http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=26758299 http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=26758457 The lack of two world class signings surely hurt us this season. We are sixth in the league and in contention for a UEFA Cup....oh wait. I guess the muppet in us is always there after a defeat. And no, don't go on about Berbs not producing results for us because new signings aren't a sure-fire way to lead us to glory. QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jun 20 2009, 11:56 PM) And signing Ribery will guarantee goals from set piece situations? Oh the irony. We have capable set piece takers. The twins have a good shot in them. Nani, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney and Berbatov all have taken free kicks as well. When Becks left, we asked the same question. Ronaldo took over and he wasn't good at it naturally. It took him practice. Someone will step up inevitably. |

QUOTE(nshady @ Apr 8 2010, 05:10 PM) Yoann Gourcuff is awesome. He's an attacking midfielder who plays above centre midfielders and behind the strikers. Similarly to Kaka, Diego, Sneidjer, he'll need backups from behind(At least 2 CMs i believe). Which means we'll be playing 4-5-1 most of the time with him. But remember, they are plenty of clubs tracking him. We have that in the form of Berbatov. |

QUOTE(air_mood @ Apr 8 2010, 07:25 PM) Oh yeah, the same United team without Tevez and Ronaldo that took the piss out of Le Arse at their own backyard, only got beaten by Chelski twice because of referee feckups, the United which was the better team over the 2 legs against Bayern and the same United team that took the piss out of the Milan team. Oh yeah, we're struggling alright. Pricks. +319Truth. |

I malas want to hype over Chicarito. Later everyone'll think it's the Sheep Curse if he suddenly underperforms.
/me ignores any new signing. |
