Does anyone know how to zoom 2.35:1 HD movie (played via USB) to Full Screen on LA40C530, but the ratio unchanged ?

Do I need "safely remove hardware" to disconnect the harddisk from the TV? If Yes, how to do that? Should I turn off the TV first? Or just unplug the USB when the TV still on?

QUOTE(sarmadm @ Aug 27 2010, 11:36 PM) Purchased C530 some days ago from Kabul Afghanistan for USD 820. I am fully satisfied with the TV results but have one problem. Here in Kabul, I have 2 DTH receivers, 1 DVD player and a PS2. All of these items have only AV output, but the C530 has only 1 AV slot on the side. Its written in the specificaitons that component 1 can be used as composite (The Component Video 1 input can also be used as a composite video input (480i only). ). I've tried using AV (composite) cable on that slot, and no problem at all. Perhaps there's trouble with the TV. You can contact Samsung Customer Service.I have tried this by putting the yellow Video cable into "Y" connector of component connector, but it always show black n white pictures. I have tried using different devices with different cables, but its always B&W. Can anybody help me in this case? Or you can use Component Cables for DVD, and for PS2, you can use PS3 Component Cable. The picture quality increase amazingly on my C550. You can play PS2 game that support 480p, even 1080i on Gran Turismo 4. |

QUOTE(pussylover @ Sep 1 2010, 08:05 AM) thanks dude! According hdtv test, Samsung C530 has input lag ONLY 14 ms WITHOUT GAME MODE. And that is very good already, so I don't think that we need to turn on the Game Mode.but not too sure if there's any real difference after turning it on while using PS3 tho.. |

QUOTE(podrunner @ Oct 6 2010, 10:34 PM) Thanks art6969. Another query here: There is maximum power that USB TV can afford. If your HDD consumes more power, it won't turn on, and there is no connection. I suggest using external HDD with external power supply.any idea why the samsung says "check signal cable" when usb cable for external drive is connected...and it keeps "losing" connection. When the same exact cable and HDD was tested in the shop on the demo unit, there was no problem. will appreciate any info/tips. thank you., Added on October 7, 2010, 10:47 amAnyone else experienced the tv liking only certain brands of external hdd? works well with seagate, and doesn't detect transcend at all with western digital, it has a tendency to get disconnected. Any thoughts? Thanks |
