need help with the mdia player! I want to play mkv files with embedded soft subs but the media player would not play the subtitle
thus i went to using MKV cleaver with MKVtoonix and extract the subtitle. most of the subtitle in the videos i had is in .ass thus i conveted the iles using subresync to srt of smi, done till this part
then rename sub to original files and stick in into the TV (via USB)
ok it can play very well but currently i'm having problem with it. somehow in the middle of the playing the video files, the sub just dissappear. and sometime the sub timing went aywire.
i'm quite sure the sub is not the problme since i use the sub and play using my comp ant the timing is correct.
thus I'm starting to feel frustrated as i cant fix this problem!
anybody have suggestions or solutions?

Try playing the same movie on another brand media player.
I have one movie, can play perfectly on a WD Live while on the HornetTek and Noontec, the screen hangs when the subtitle begins to show.
