since got some voucher for Fella Design.

Was thinking to do curtain there. Any review?  smile.gif
I'd measure the main window, width = 180cm, height = 210cm and its 30cm from ground.

What is the recommend size for curtain? shall make 5cm extra at each side?
or just ngam ngam the size ?

normally curtain specialist will suggest u to have extra coz it will look nicer smile.gif i did mine with Macy last time... their service not bad... but dont know bout Fella Design... since u went just now, do u seen their display or sample? nice?

If you want to seek professionals to do your curtain, then give them the measurement and they would tell you how much material you need to buy and reserve for "pleats".

Even if you do not want their service, i.e. you want to ask someone else to sew your curtain; you can still always "pretend" by visiting any curtain showroom, and tell them your measurement. They would tell you how much you need to reserve. wink.gif

if buy at those place, how to install the rail for curtain ar?
any shop will just do the rail only? how much?

or you all DIY?

rail also got many type. which one better?

sometimes those tailor made shop (Macy, Fella) did provide & include installation for u (with track)...

if u want to buy normal track (old fashion one) can actually get from hardware shops nowadays just give them ur window panel / length, they will cut for u.. price.. quite cheap... u can also find those tracks at Jusco too...

about the type of track... it depend on which kind of curtain design u choose... for my point of view better get modern design track and modern design curtain - the curtain dont need metal to hang, curtain has hole which directly put go through the track.. it is easier for u to take the curtain out and wash and reinstall back after wash... smile.gif

Hi, Joey,

ok. Thanks for the info.

Ya, heard about those track could buy from hardware shop.
if buy there, the problem is still need DIY to install it onto the wall.
This is the part that I'm worried. Without a proper tool (and skill as well), hardly install them neatly. smile.gif

even the curtain track from hardware shop is cheap, but the quality is not that good also.
i believe if u order from fella, they will provide the track installtion as well. and their track will be better than those hardware shop.

welcome....ya if u dont have proper tool it might be abit problem... but my bro-in-law do it before.. still ok la...but like IGax2000 mentioned... if u ask those pro shops to install for u, that will be better...some dont even charges if u order a set of curtain from them smile.gif
