AstroMax subscriber can choose Option 2 with waiver of RM 300.00 but still have to pay RM10 / month.

but eventhough the number of HD channels is growing, it doesnt mean it will be on astro rite? 

Please note that any existing recordings that you have made in your Astro Max or External Hard Disk Drive (EHDD) shall not be retrievable or transferable to another device or into the Astro B.yond PVR and in order to have access to any recorded programmes, you must currently subscribe to the corresponding channels/package and recording service.

They said "shall not" so it means you transferring the content into another storage is possible 

I mean, if you using external HDD for recording, maybe it is possible to transfer the recorded contents into another HDD and play it on another Byond decoder.

If i'm not mistaken, you need to pay it direct to the installer who come to your house to install that PVR set.
Just called astro, they said, 10 working days for installation of the new PVR...
