Is there any theory that links a perceived importance towards an object, the more likely you are to act favorably towards it. If so, what is the name of the theory. Need to relate with my assignment.

EG: The more important you perceive money, the more likely you are to work hard to get more money.

OR

EG: The more favorably you think of dogs, the more likely you are to treat a dog better.

Thanks.

URGENT.

No, we are not allowed to ask for solutions but we can seek guidance. biggrin.gif

Not really about motivation but how positive thoughts create positive action.

Like if you think of colored people favorably, the less likely you are to abuse them racially.

Something like that. : /
