i would like to meet new friends but i don't know where. i just broke off with bf. all these years i'm too dependant on him. i'm too sad and can't concentrate on work.

i seldom socialised but now it's time for me to do so. mending a broken heart is not easy . i want to pick up my life again as i've lost touch with the outside world. i don't want to live in sadness. can anyone recommend me any place in klang valley where i can hang out / socialised to meet new friends or anyone who would like to be my friends are welcome.

thanks. i wish i can still meet up with my old schoolmates but unfortunately all of them already married & have their own family. it's very hard to ask them out as i've tried before. maybe there's a club / society / charity for me to join but where?

I just learn a painful valuable lesson not to mingle and have any close relationship with officemate.Dont mix up work and pleasure. SO now I just wana treat my workplace where i make money, but i just wana socialize and have close frens outside my working circles.

oh yah im frm klang valley area as well, wok in Shah Alam, hang out in Subang.

do you do any form of sports or exercise?
that is another way to meet new friends.
but caution, a broken heart can lead you to wrong directions.
take a break to heal the pain.
i would suggest your family or relatives would be a good listening ear.

a good source of friend is sports. singles clubs..but dont get yourself pulling any string.

No to say a broken heart need to meet friend, even guy sometime hard to get friend.

My friend case, he is a healthy and success guy, but he is just lack of fate to female.
He is sporting, good looking, having good career, but among our friend, he is the only single man.
So, we did once a while, went out to cafe, clubhouse, or even pub. but... no luck for him.

So girl, where you think is the best place that a strange guy can meet girl?
or, where u meet your bf or spouse previously? (except company)

just find for a social butterfly... one that treasures her friends...
u'll end up having too many friends until u don't know what to do...
n then... u'll have issues as ur weekends n weekdays are taken up ~ haha

well.. don't dwell on finding friends. just go out n enjoy urself, if u can be contented with the person u are... u'll see ppl coming to u without u needed to go there. when u're positive, there's a lot of ppl around u wanting to feel that positive vibe from u... n the ppl around u are friends that's worth calling a real friend. =D~

go around n see. usually this person is always surrounded by ppl. n they'll talk to anyone like there's everything to talk about. they dont really talk much bout themselves unless u ask them, or the topic relates to them, but they're extremely good listeners n great friends.

It is useless to find or ask for friends on web.
Many cases of girls met guys on9 and get raped or cheat.
if you really need friends, find them at work, or ur class. plus if the friend u find at work is from your experties and you can talk at the same topic and wont get bored when they are talking at the topic u are not familier with.
As a guy, i recomemded not to find it online. Find one out there(not club or pub).

Well I think the best way to gain new friends is to take up classes or join certain activities like swimming and so on.

I've just finished my SPM and took up loads of classes and made many along the way

Its very fun really.I even have friends who are 12 years older than me and they all are so much fun!

So you should just go out there.Just start with a smile if you're not that comfortable with new people
