OMAI shocking.gif And i thought garmin was supported. It will be updated ? will it ?  wink.gif

Well it depends in Garmin themselves if they want to develop the app for maemo 5.
At the moment, if u need turn by turn voice navigation, ur best bet iz wait for Ovi Maps in Maemo to be updated to support it...
OR just try Sygic Mobile Maps for Maemo 5...I dunno if they have Malaysian maps though...try checking first at their homepage..where the app was sold icon_rolleyes.gif

MY answers are in blue
3. Does it have nHD screen just like SE Satio, Vivaz?
No, but the quality is as good as nHD

4. Currently it can only be used to listen to radio using third party software? Does it need internet connection to open the radio? Or just like the normal way after plugging in the headset then can listen to the radio already?
Sorry for asking so much. I am really interested in buying this phone. biggrin.gif
To listen to local FM yes u need headset to act as an antenna or if u have 3G access or wifi u can listen to online radio.
*
3. AFAIK, nHD screen hve the res of 640x360 while N900 screen hve 800X480 res. Hence, N900 screen was miles better than the nHD screen as the res was much higher than the nHD screen

4. If ur talking bout FM radio than yes, just download the app, jack in ur earphone as da antenna and enjoy FM radio on ur phone. This is due to the fact that N900 actually have FM receiver in it alongside FM transmitter but Nokia doesn't write an app to use the hardware. But then, the community steps in and write an app to utilize the unused FM receiver in N900

But if u listen to Internet Radio (The one incorporated into the Media Player, then u need to pay for the usage, as it uses data (streaming) from the internet.

Hope this clarifies it icon_rolleyes.gif

No point if u cant access further because tats when it loads java.
*
AFAIK the Iceweasel web browser in Easy Debian for N900 support Java if u install it from the easy debian repo...it is a workaround though.
As usual let me know if I'm wrong though icon_rolleyes.gif

I dont understand why u guys make your life so complicated.

Install Nokia Pc suite then connect it using pcsuite mode thru bluetooth or cable then press connect to the internet WALLA.

LOLwut? he was telling that he used Linux, not windows doh.gif
Blame Nokia for not providing Linux users wif their Pc suite application laugh.gif

BTW, AFAIK if choosing PC suite mode in linux, automagically the phone will be detected as mobile broadband device. Not having N900 yet but already tried on N97 and X6 here. And it just works, plug and play thumbup.gif

Ubuntu 9.1 Karmic Koala user here icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi dear would like to check with you this N900 can use MMS,3G(video call )Right?

Btw actually i am thinking to get 2 phones on a china manufacturer website(ali***a.com).The problem is the seller promised i that is real and original Nokia N900 and come with 2 years warranty.

The price is very cheap which she can offer me USD175/phone including shipping if i buy 2phones in once.

Can i trust on them?Is it really original phone? Please give me some advice

Thank you very much.

I'm somehow skeptical wif dat offer
Better be careful or else there is a chance that U could be scammed hmm.gif
