As for not being able to send MMS, if not mistaken there are two current solutions. 1 is a python based app, other is non-python. instructions and installation files available on www.maemo-freak.com.

i second the recommendation. No major issues yet with my phone, but would be good to meet some maemo sifu's cos got questions to ask, hehe,

pls be aware guys, not every version of the leaked pr 1.2. is original. there are some which are an early beta released from a month ago for testing, and they are really buggy ( not to say that the most recent leaked RC isn't buggy at all).

if you intend to try out the RC pls make sure that it is the latest file, and that you can do without your app downloader, and coversation app (sms) for a while. For others, i've heard that the n900 will be released in hong Kong on the 5th officially running pr 1.2, so i guess we should see an update by then, cheers!
