yeah, but i dont see the point.
leave the apps to the phones that need it.
N900 can open the real thing.
beats any app any day

what REAL THING?

the reality of things that Twitter apps are generally better than the actual Twitter itself.

for me, I use my web-based Twitter at http://www.goldfries.com/twitter/ which is powered by DABR.

works a lot better than Twitter itself, no reliance on any other application other than the web browser.

downside? a little harder to include multiple people in tweets and can't set refresh of tweet timeline.

the site itself
meh..i dont see the advantage of using those apps.

i have...tweego on this device, but i still prefer using the actual site.

also,@underlined above^
smile.gif erm. that one was referring to the web-based dabr la (the part you underlined)

you can log in to your Twitter and see what are the most common apps people use. Even Social Media Consultants use Tweetdeck (iphone, mac os, windows) or gravity (s60, various others) for Tweeting. biggrin.gif

super a lot of advantage, a lot more that Twitter itself. if Twitter itself was so great then those apps wouldn't be so widely used.

i for one, don't use twitter cos i like the dabr better cos I can upload photos via twitpic using the same interface.

lol yea, can see alot of people using apps.
different folks,different strokes? tongue.gif
haha. well yeah just to add on the discussion only.

i haven't launched Tweetdeck for ages and have not bought Gravity.

cos Dabr to me is enough - only cost is my server tongue.gif but i like it better cos less resource taken....... i think.

LOL. yeah easier that way.

another way I do with Nokia phone is use Win Vista's DUN to connect via BlueTooth. lagi best, no need to run PC Suite to connect.
