the first time i signed in to msn pecan plugin, i realise the contacts it reads is 1/3 of the total contacts of my live messenger. then when i go back to my laptop and sign in, 2/3 of my contacts are gone. i just finish click 1 by 1 to add back to window live messenger. anyone experience this?

i shall try again. i will seriously piss off if i have to add back manually again

ok it works now...

actually before this, i had problem sync my phone contact between window vista contact and n900 via pc suite. most of my phone contact lost.

the map loader cant detect my phone. why?

i download the maps and paste to map folder. i can see the map without accessing internet. now my question is, why i cannot find any location for routing

Added on April 14, 2010, 8:03 pmi searched lyn about this problem, no one seems to have but people all around the world have. so i decided to share here as there might have someone stuck here.

the problem happens when you use vista/win7 to run map loader, you will forever get stuck at "waiting for phone". and here is the solution i found:

if you are lazy to open this link, the steps are easy:
1. open xterminal
2. type this and enter:

cp /home/user/MyDocs/.qf /home/user/MyDocs/qf

then connect your n900 in PC suite mode. open map loader and it works.

problems here and there because this baby has too many feature.
