I agree with you aspire pls post all the stuff in the front page as i have suggested before.. then ask them to refer there as for us users who basically wanna discuss bout the phone dun wanna talk bout comparison anymore... I am quite tired of this comparison... which keeps coming up every now and then.... zzzzz...

Anyway OC N900 didn't reduce phone lifespan?

huahua... actually i started OC to 900mhz.. then tried 800mhz for about 4 days.. i guess there's some noticeable difference between 800 & 900 for me.. so i OC back up to 900mhz.. all is good now  . N900 running at 900mhz <--- shud be like dat rite?    next wanna try the LV kernel from Titan.. wanna try if it's ok or not

Currently i am kind of happy at 800mhz if i start to feel laggy ill try 900mhz too. Does the battery overheat fast when u r running video continously?

Why dont u go to the iphone section ask them should u get nokia n900 over iphone? Most users here are Nokia N900 why will they say Iphone is better?
We are sorry for the sarcastic answer because we already answer this question for the 600th times. Nokia N900 owns iphone in connectivity, in flexibility, in hardware, in freedom, in web, and etc but ppl will keep insist they want buy iphone. They expect us here to tell them Iphone is better than Nokia n900 to make them feel good.

i was thinking about buying this n900....yesterday i've search all over klang,they don even know there is a n900 , one guy even said 2 me " waaa,u banyak hebat a , saya jaga kedai talifon pon taktahu ada ini macam punya model "( WTF ).....can anybody tell me where i can get 1??if posible location klang/pj/kl......

Here's what I did. I remapped the arrow button to allow combination with Fn-keystoke (blue arrow key). Fn + Left arrow = HOME and Fn + Rightt arrow = END. We need to edit rx-51 file which store keyboard configuration.

Quick tutorial:

(Before proceeding, please install leafpad app)
a. Open X-terminal
b. Type root
c. Type cd /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/nokia_vndr
d. Type cp rx-51 /home/user/MyDocs/.documents (this is for rx-51 backup just incase)
e. Type leafpad rx-51
f. This will open rx-51 with leafpad editor.
g. Scroll down until the end of the file.
h. You will see some configuration text for arrows_4btns.
i. Edit it as following:

k. Close leafpad.
l. On X-Terminal, type setxkbmap
m. Reboot N900.

Now you can scroll-paging Home and End on your browser.

happened to me before also. its nothing la.. phone wont explode dont worry lol

try to change the charger or battery... if the spark is still there, my advice is asap send back to the AP company

Ovi suite is suppose to be the upgrade of pcsuite.

But pcsuite have more features compare to Ovi suite.
Currently N900 only supports Pcsuite.

Direct software installation
Connect bluetooth device
Edit calender,contact,sms etc etc
Convert video or music to support on phone

Not all on the list are supported on n900
