ok so let me summarise for anyone who's asking this: Is the netbook given by TM the same as reatil ones?

Answer: No. Retail cost Rm1300.00, BUT the one given by TM shud cost around RM 1100.00
         

Difference: Retail: Got 6 cells battery, Got better screen (in what way not reli sure), got better keyboard( i guess it must be the chic-let type for retail), and smooth finish palm rest.

Since it was mentioned that 1073TU was bundled with TM's promo, so does that mean that TM has actually ordered quite a large sum of the said laptops, for HP (Or any company) to specially customize one..

Either your netbook is different or...

Difference:
1. LCD bezel (retail is non-bordered glass)
2. Keyboard (ours isn't chic-let, fake chic-let only)
3. Palm rest (ours is rough)
4. Back cover (ours is plain)

Aiyaah...why take the trouble to downgrade to XP just because you can't change your wallpaper or no aero effect being offered to our mini's entry level windows 7.

I have just upgraded successfully from 7 starter to 7 home premium    using windows anytime upgrade....without costing me anything    Only took about 20 minutes to upgrade and then waaaalah....7 home premium already

If your google hard enough, you'll find the keys after a few minutes of ggogling . It's that easy

Now my desktop looks real chun woo with the aero effects ...our mini really got no problems at all to pump out the aero effects with full glory even with just the stock standard 1gb ram    After booting up windows 7 home premium, the ram level stays comfortably at around 59% (i also got readyboost running) level running the stock standard built in software with the addition of avg antivirus.  I deleted norton immediately after setting up the mini earlier.

nope, only the laptop and the extended warranty. need to find a suitable sleeve for it.

i found a cheap sleeve but i dont like the colour. i want black! only left blue and pink. @@

btw, I just purchased a 2gb Kingmax DDR2 800 Sodimm RAM, tried replace the original 1gb RAM

but when power up, there's nothing on the screen, no beeping also, and can hardly hear the fan spinning as it's spinning very slow.  Tried power off/on again still the same, but sometimes the caps lock light will be on, but still nothing on the screen.  I've tried re-seat the RAM a few times, making sure it's seated tightly and properly, power-on without the batt, and yet still the same.  Everything went OK after I change back to the original RAM.

I suspect it's a faulty ram but couldn't find another laptop to verify it.  Anyone of 210 users experience this?

initially was wanting to get a black, as there's some pattern on the cover, but after staring it for 5 minutes while waiting for the salesman to fetch my new mini from the store, I find the pattern a bit "terrifying", so i opt for the red, matching my red n5800 too
