Hmm, using 2GB ram can increase performance? Netbook can't really run heavy application, thought of installing SSD will boost performance esp when boot into Windows and open applications. HDD or SSD is more power efficient?

QUOTE(ayzhad @ Apr 3 2010, 02:14 PM) Hi, Key in "SSD" in the google search box and you have over 24M results. I'm noob here got my HP Mini from TM with the following specs :- HP Mini 210 1073TU Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz 1gb Ram & all the same specs that TM provided What is SSD? can explain to me the details as what i know i've open the back of HP mini and able to remove the ram but to use SSD is there guides? Thanks So far the cheapest SSD is from Intel X25-V 40GB at around RM450. Added on April 3, 2010, 4:31 pm QUOTE(altimi @ Apr 3 2010, 03:56 PM) The CULV processors are mostly single core right? If yes, I don't see any point buying it as most ULV processors I had seen are 1.3Ghz, it is even slower than netbooks. I am wondering why Intel still hasn't come out with real dual core Atom processors for netbook. It will be great if they do so.This post has been edited by 5564321: Apr 3 2010, 04:32 PM |
