Put me in the list

To those who remembered that my hp mini encountered some screen problem, they fixed a silver color cover for me..

So its not black cover anymore icon_idea.gif

i noticed a recovery partition disk in my computer there, whats the use of it?
if i format my drive (C:) now, in future can i recover using the partition disk (D:)

recovery system is like hard reset or in other words, reformat

u can burn it out into dvd if u wish too

the netbook always pop up to remind me to create recovery disc.

when i want to create recovery disc, i should create it into pendrive right? 4 Gb pendrive enough or 8Gb? or create it anywhere in harddisk memory?

check d recovery folder size la.
usually 4gb and above will do.
or if u have an external dvd rom will be much better

TS, add me too in the list. Btw how do i open the back cover? I tried pressing both the orange latch but to no avail.
Whats the full charging time too for the 3cell battery?

Push the orange latches and pull the cover. You have to pull it quite hard the first time but no worries, just pull.

how to use the recovery partition to recover to factory setting? just boot from that disk? if can, whats the different between using this method and creating recovery disc with dvdrom, which i think is quite troublesome.

That laptop is mine as well laugh.gif

Anyway,I managed to upgrade to Window 7 Premium.Now thinking should I upgrade to Ultimate?Can the laptop handle it with 1GB ram?

i m using ultimate now with 1gb ram. it works fine just like the starter edn,
