Well, if u think about it, optical fibers doesn't conduct electricity..so theoretically, it should be safer than copper lines. I'm getting mine installed this Saturday.
So does that mean power for the customer premises equipment have to come from your own power socket? If so, how to call Tenaga to fire them during blackout?
You get a new fixed line number. People can call it just like any other number. TM has not yet managed to work out how to port existing numbers to their VoIP network.
Good one! Mobile operators can port numbers between different operators but TM can't port number within itself?

about 9 hours left before installation... like waiting for a baby to be delivered.
And then the headache, heartache and cost of raising your "baby"

Am using Belkin SurgeMaster (which covers LAN and Phone Line as well). Initially it was struck by lightning, and the modem LAN port and router WAN port fried. Then sent in for warranty and got a new one. Now it's the second time, my modem LAN port fried.
