The 5, 10 20 Mbps is purely internet speed. IPTV is 8Mg ON TOP of the internet speed. So when you sign for VIP5, you're actually getting 5+8 Mbps pumped to your house. Furthermore, the "streams" for internet and IPTV are separate, meaning your internet surfing speed is not affected by your IPTV.

I asked TM on whether we can unbundle the services and their answer is no. Their reason is UniFi is suppose to give a total digital lifestyle experience. Plus, for now (I think up to September), the IPTV services are free!!

Actually their channels are not bad la, got a kids channel (important for my kids..hahaha)...I saw at my friend's house. Plus I like the VOD concept...no need to pay for channels I don't watch. Can watch whenever I like. But I think they need a sports channel. Then more people can just cancel A**ro and take up UniFi.

I think the IPTV can be improved...content is important but like we know, a lot of the major channels already exclusive belong to A**ro. So maybe TM should concentrate on getting more VOD and getting it for cheap, and HD quality.
