QUOTE(Madgeiser @ Apr 3 2010, 08:53 PM) If after bandwidth quota, you can still get the above mentioned speed, better don't even give a bandwidth quota. then i think if wan doThe point of throttling your bandwidth quota was to discourage you from downloading excessively. A 5Mbps line throttled to 1.5Mbps, may as well not throttle at all. You can still download without a care in the world. It defeats the who idea of bandwidth capping. To me 512kbps, is considered very very good on the ISP part. If i am the ISP, i will throttle you down to 256kbps or slower, so you does not kill the rest of my user base. At the end of the day we all have to adjust to the fact that there is no "unlimited" bandwidth and adjust our download habits accordingly. then after 60gb direct extra charge or cut off ur net until next month Added on April 3, 2010, 11:20 pm QUOTE(cshong @ Apr 3 2010, 11:07 PM) 100% agree. agree alsoHowever, if anyone feel angry for my following statement, then I apologize, but I just want to tell how I feel about those people who defend for TM instead of asking TM to purchase more bandwidth. I will not blame those who defend TM. Instead, I pity them. Because I do feel that they are brainwashed by TM. where gt ppl blame other user eat so much one n no blame tm y no add bw and everymonth sitll charge so high Added on April 3, 2010, 11:25 pmand if u also think ur line slow because of other user p2p then i think u better TERMINATE ur current packege becuase ur line eating bandwith also .................... Added on April 3, 2010, 11:29 pmand SOME of u said the cap bw it is good and make the line smooth so do u think other isp MAXIS DIGI P1 that cap the bw their line smooth enough????? QUOTE(saiaha @ Apr 4 2010, 01:14 AM) lol mate. stop complaining about tm and their responsibility. buy it and use it however you like. dont buy it if you intend to protest. go run for MP if u think they abuse the subsidy. As a makaysianor better yet rather than complaining here.. write to a newspaper, TM CEO, to government. get ppl to sign a memorandum. useless bickering here leads to nowhere.. we have right to voice up |

Your comments and notes on TM’s UniFi packages are duly noted. We value all feedback and comments from the public or our customers and we believe that if this feedback is constructive, it will help us to continuously improve ourselves to meet and exceed their expectations.
For your information, the Unifi service was developed from almost two years of detailed study, planning and execution. Our strategies developed have taken into account the various considerations of our stakeholders that include most importantly our potential customers for the service, industry players, national priorities, shareholders and the public at large. For example, as part of the planning process, we have carried out extensive market surveys and focus group testing of our intended UniFi service pricing levels. The intent of this activity was to gauge and measure public acceptance and willingness to subscribe to the Unifi services at various pricing levels. These public surveys were carried out by independent third parties and covered all segments of Malaysian society. The resulting feedback and analysis from these surveys coupled with other relevant industry data contributed to the final decision on the different Unifi product packages and their relevant pricing levels. We believe that our triple-play offering of High Speed Internet, Voice and IPTV together with our zero entry fees and free equipment charges worth RM1,100 offers great value for money to potential subscribers of the service. In addition to this, we have also carried out comparisons of our UniFi service with similar services offered by other communication companies globally and find that our pricing levels are significantly comparable with most of them, taking into consideration the very recent nature of our entry into this high speed broadband segment. On this note, we thank you for highlighting to us your concerns on this matter. We invite you to try out our Unifi service to experience it for yourself. For that, you may call our TM Unifi centre at 1-300-88-1222 to get a service installation appointment. Our team will be more than happy to come to your home to deliver the registration form for your approval and begin installation at your premise. |

QUOTE(silverhawk @ Apr 26 2010, 03:02 PM) Do you have a proper source for that? e-mail screenshot perhaps? it is reply from UniFiIts all a bunch of hot air with no substance. If surveys and studies were conducted, we would expect to see the reports/data of their studies so we can see if they're just crapping. We the consumers have done our own comparisons of Unifi with other similar services provided globally, and it isn't "significantly comparable" with "most of them". make me laugh |
