Lots of USB to RS232 sold in shops nowadays. Back in the day it cost >RM100.
Other than mucking(or learning tongue.gif) around, not much use on the BTU/ONU but work on the RG sounds promising.

I will try to source out and see if I can get the password. No promises.
By the way, the installation takes a long time because,

See the video, how long it takes just to connect a connector.

No need to source, just logged into the Fiberhome earlier. Nothing much there except some network information and diagnostic tools. It boots from network every time and it gets the firmware image from an FTP server on the fiber optic network. Not much use at all unless you have fiber optic based diagnostic tools ( which I don't sad.gif ). Going to look into the DIR-615 next which should be way more useful hopefully hmm.gif

I am on VIP10 and have done speed tests at TM site with results as attached. I don't think I am getting the speed that I should especially the upload speed which barely break 5 Mbps. The download speed NEVER hit 10 Mbps. I thought it should occasionally hit a bit above ten. This is testing in TM internal network, mind you.

Anyone has similar results with speedtest with TM speedometer?
