According to the guy in charge of the project at TM, so far only 400 subscribers tongue.gif
Of course it's only 400 subscribers.

only 4 areas.

1 team can install 1 or maybe 2 / day.

How many installation teams are allocated to each area?

~10 days since the launch

Installing 40 houses / day

At that rate it will take about 7 years to reach 100,000 subscribers.

If you're looking for work, I imagine TM is hiring icon_idea.gif

International link seems bad. I wish my upload and download speed is the other way around sad.gif

But overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

Speedtest is a useless test for testing torrent / download speeds, my speedtest results don't even come close to actual download speeds that can be achieved with torrents / download programs or even FTP.

Maybe it's accurate for simple browsing. I'm not sure.

Does anyone know a testing program that is actually accurate?

wow only 400 if what you said is true then the boycott is really working smile.gif

Well it could be just due to their lack of manpower. I know the boycott isn't working like I hoped it would, after all, many of the people who are here complaining about tmnet non stop, saying want to boycott, but in the end, go subscribe for the service doh.gif shakehead.gif

I would not mind registering as an installation contractor, i been doing CCTV installation in factories and homes for half a decade now. I wonder how they hire their contractors, only bumi contractors allowed i think hmm.gif

All 3 people that came were TM employees, I don't think they're outsourcing any contractors.

Yeah, I know. But you get the general idea when surfing or streaming from sites from that country. Otherwise, my torrent speed is around 550 kBps, so that's pretty good.

Saw them laying the cables under Jalan Sungai Long here. They said it will be available in Sg Long by Q3, so I guess they're pretty on time (at least where I'm staying).
