QUOTE(robertngo @ Apr 6 2010, 09:19 AM) core switch are always expensive, but this new model have more than 10 fold increase in speed compare with the old one. it will not solve the international link issue, but at least local network will be blazingly fast. You are making a big assumption about where TM's engineering problems are. Who knows whether the problems are concentrated in such a way that dropping in one router could solve everything? Far more likely that the problems are endemic network-wide.

hey guys.. got two questions here: 1. what is the speed of IPTV set top box? 100mbps or 1Gbps? (connection speed - i know IPTV uses ~8mbps only) 2. can i connect the IPTV set top box to a aztech homeplug, then another homeplug connected to the RG router? because i like to put my modem and router at upstairs while my TV is downstairs. thanks for the help This post has been edited by tweiyang11: Apr 6 2010, 04:10 PM

Far more likely that the problems are endemic network-wide. this is the easiest problem to solve, if it is last mile connection issue then it is much harder to change all those wire link.

if HSBB related cables, they will put a sign similar to "Project Jalur Lebar Berkelajuan Tinggi". Kesulitan amat dikesali. On their orange cones also got the same label. That what I saw yesterday in front of my house.

Ill surely hand them a few cold drinks. Hehehe

The speed is same as what the switch on the DLINK router is rated at - 10/100mbps. As for actual usage is should be 8mbps 2. Should be able to do that

QUOTE(silverhawk @ Apr 6 2010, 07:12 PM) which is why things in this country will never change *sigh* It's irresistible really, especially for heavy downloaders. IIRC MX510 is one of the download champions in LYN, judging by the bandwidth usage screenshot that he posted. On a side note... 2 days left before my Unifi installation.
