After few months of struggling with this proton car dealer. I decided to disclose this shop to give warning to the future proton car buyer.
Let's start the story here...


I had book a Saga M-line Auto with this shop on Dec 2009, and that time they promise to deliver the car to me before Chinese New year... I was so happy at the time after listening that, imaging driving new car during the CNY. But, sadly... the week before CNY, call back the agent, being told the car will be delivered week after CNY.
So.. no choice but just to wait.

I was so busy after CNY and totally forget about the car.. until last week 15/03/2010 still no feedback from the agent. So, I call him again, to ask what happen with my booking, this time he give another reason saying stock shortage from proton and give me the DAMN I-care phone number.. ask me to follow up with proton. WTF! This agent is totally no responsibility, pushing his job to me... he sitting there putih-putih collect the sales commission.

The next day, i don't bother to call this FXXX I-Care.. Really fed up with proton, decided to cancel the booking & buy with perodua. So, i call this agent ask him prepare the cheque which i've paid for the deposit at earlier time. Sure he talk alot nonsense.. but i still insist to cancel.

The climate of the story is coming..

5 min later, this guy call me and saying my car is ready now, he is taking other ppl's car which booking made on july2009. (I know he is bullshit there, because i know my friend booked on Mid DEC 2009, already got his car before CNY). I keep listening his new story.. this time he say if i want to get the car faster.. have to pay RM50 so they will submit the vehicle regisration to JPJ in a express counter (SHIT LA.. I don't know got such counter in JPJ..must be try to cheat my $!). So, i don't pay him.. i keep waiting see when he deliver the car to me.

I don't know is anybody from here have such experience.. or i'm just the unluckiest man here..

Please be careful if you want to buy from this shop.

Proton @ Sri Petaling (the 1 same shoplot with Hyundai & Kia(naza) showroom) opposite OSK Investment Bank

I know where is that shop.... will warn others.. thz

next time i wont step in thos kind of dealer..
try find those showroom with platinum status

Don't push the fault to Proton instead of SA or car dealer Its obvious is the fault of that SA, no responsible at all.. Screw him.

this happens to my mom's car too ..persona.

but i wont have this problem, i sold my last proton 6 months ago,and i'll never ever buy proton again in my life.

Hopefully my future new car will not give me any trouble.

This should be a name & shame + name & recommend thread for both good and bad SA.

If there are SA who is not doing their duty, name them so people won't get conned by them. But if there are good SA, they should be named here so people can give them more business.

If we do that in lyn's own traders, we can do this for SA's too.

which saga spec you book? what colour?
about the rm50, yup it exist but not for public and car owner. is for car salesman wanna register car express. if not we have to wait the next day to collect the road tax and registration card.

but still, they worked for proton. not a 2nd hand car dealer.

Everyone shd avoid this car dealer..I'll make a note of it.

all dealer also same. when the car sales is good especially.

i think 1thing to blame is slow production from proton...!

ya this shop even deliver my friend's satria neo with some delay.. got the satria neo then we spotted some abnormalities on the paint.. alot of scratches.. they respray the place, no scratches yes but the paint become soo ugly that my friend decided to respray next year LOL

what is the seller name???? picture is better.
A responsible seller will keep u up to date if the car really can't deliver on time.
Not we are the one call them.

saga m-line auto, at 1st booked on silver colour.. but the SA told me silver is heavily shortage of stock, we i decide to take the purple..and he said that will be faster.. But end up still keep waiting.
So, now the unit he processing on vehicle number registration is Silver colour.. I'm really no idea which words from his mouth is true.

DEC 2009 ar??. my uncle also god his saga b4 CNY ler. i think he book tat car at Dec also. go screw tat SA la.

I have almost a similar problem with a Melaka Bakatmas Branch Dealer.
Before i make my booking the sales person confirm with me got ready stock. He also let me know the color of the car too. Then i pay RM500 for booking and process my loan. After 1 week my loan approved but the sales person say the car other ppl take already and i was like " WTF i paid RM500 to book the car and you say other ppl took it already" I straight away inform my fren from the bank to look for other dealer. Finally without delay i was inform a white neo ready stock at Kepong. Then straight away i ask the bank to change of dealer name. I receive my car tomorrow morning from Kepong :-) When i recieve my car i drove it to collect my deposit from the stupid sales person. Haha

EDAR sales man is such an **s...

i went to that sri petaling sales office during beginning of the year. the SA there commit anything that you requested like drinking water... luckily i didn't do my booking there...

luckily you are walk away from this shop, or you will have the same faith like me..

finally get the car, and no defect noticed at the moment.. lets cross our finger

at the very least thanks a lot for sharing this us

before you pay deposit, all car dealer will say no problem for everythingssssss....
once you paid deposit, they start all the bullshit, non-sense, not their fault bla bla bla....all car dealers is the same because my dad know a lot of car dealers....
do u make any complain to proton HQ?

Same thing happen to me but different places, which is Cheras Proton, promise to delivery but broken the promises, i just get the car after 4 months although the car is ready stock. At the same time they had steal the 5000km voucher and dont want to redeem back. Complaint had been made but no action and the best part the broken promises given by the MANAGER. Really dissapointed with proton. Tak Nak proton anymore..sigh..

I also have similar problem with this BakatMas Melaka...
I first book my car with downpayment rm 500..
i booked a naza forte 1.6 sx..
they promised free gifts - tinted glass with free bodykit..
so i agreed and at that time, i wanted white colour..
a few days after that i asked for a change in colour as my loan was not yet approved at that time...
the salesperson there told me that i cant change the colour because they have already booked the car and settled everything with JPJ..
i can get the car a day after the loan is approved..

so i just said ok...

after my loan is approved..
i wait..
and wait..
and wait...

called them everyday..
and everyday, there will be problems...
orang bank tak bagi my loan number to them la..
jpj off line la..
bla bla bla bla...

after a week and lottsss of panggilan yang menyakitkan hati,
at last they said my car is ready....

as i cant go to take the car and asked my father untuk ambil kereta untuk saya..

and guess what..??

yes my car is ready..
with the bodykit, still in boxes...
and they said, pemasangan sendiri...

what...?????

I know this is an old topic... but I agreed... ppl in Melaka please avoid Bakatmas at all costs. Very rude sales person... went to see proton car at 2 different branches and went 3 times still cannot test drive. ( test drive person not working it seems)

Best thing is got balls to call me up and say I never pick up phone. WTF I told the fella straight away alot of people call me and WTH why do I have to pick up your call ? Who the F are U?

Very bad sales etiquette. Am very glad I didnt buy the car yet. Pity Proton though all these rude sales people tarnish the car image.
