I mean it's understandable that it's not right for me to max out a 20MB connection and get 6TB a month for RM249.

I think I would be happier with something like a 300GB cap, and then speeds drop to 5MB. That would still be acceptable.

120GB and then speeds down to 1MB? No way.

The reason why it may reduce the downloads among us is because of IPTV. But again if you insist on downloading then its not for you. Its simple as that. I'll give it a go , suppose if TM still can't deliver high speed broadband then its a failure !

I honestly think the cap is sufficient... I mean, we only use internet for youtube, Malaysian Insider, facebook, msn and skype ... Nothing else... lol!

If gov has this mentality, I think they are being stupid... lol!

I do admit, even though 90 GB is sufficient for me but for the price they are offering, its a freaking rip-off... lol!

How to progress like this???

I'm sure once the penetration is improved, I'm sure iTunes, Universal studios and etc... will be offering loads of online content... TM should have taken into consideration about all these...

They should NOT force us to take IPTV. There should be an option to choose... not force it down our throats...i could care less about IPTV

Despite I will have to wait until Q4 before HSBB reaches my area.... (Streamyx 512kbps user......)

I personally think that the 60GB cap on 5MB package is ok for me, as my monthly usage rarely exceeds 35~40GB (Using the internet mainly for playing online games, MSN, checking forums/e-mail or some Youtubing... maybe once in a while download a RAR file of musics which is less than 100MB)

What I was only concerned was the price, hope they will reduce it.... sweat.gif
Not to forget the ping.... (most important factor to me as I was playing a MMO which is hosted at Germany)

comes with a 2 year contract... so it's not as easy as "ill give it a try" for most of us. gotta put a lot of thought before pulling the trigger. perhaps 4mbps streamyx is a better deal after all

yes but they offering a high speed broadband, IPTV etc, all these consume big amount of bandwidth, with my usage the provided 120GB will exceed in 1 week, so whats the point ? back to 1mbps speed again ?
