the 200mhz base clock cannot change?
i think the auto overclock is a feature from the board to auto adjust the clock speed for you when you enable it. This post has been edited by saturn85: Mar 25 2010, 04:44 AM |

never use this board before, but the auto overclock should be disable la, since you are now manually overclock.
check got other item that lock the base clock? |

I must disabled it... for my case (different motherboard with you), after press F10 and ENTER, pc will directly reboot, no need to wait.. but nothing changes to my clock speed... still 200Ghz.... any idea? the forumer from other web also put advanced clock calibration---> disabled multi-step OC booster---> disabled |

can reach 3.2ghz on stock vcore. but will be around 60C at max load 100%. 40C on average load with stock cooler (enjoy the noise).

mine also is propus core, not deneb one. max my chip can go on 1.4v is 247BCLK x 13 = 3.2GHz. and the fan is really noisy at 60C. damnit. i'd sugest you to buy better cooler if you plan to OC it. unless you can withstand the noise. if you're not ocing it, the vcore required is only 1.26v on my system. YMMV.

i wonder why amd rate these 45nm cpu at 1.4v stock vcore?
1.4v stock vcore consider a bit high right? last time athlon x2, 90nm windsor also rate at 1.35v stock vcore only. and the phenom ii x4 940 is 1.2v (not sure) only. |

wah, 3.6 very hard bro. good luck~
do report back if you can get it stable at that on air cooling. though i anticipate the temp will be around 70C. do note that max temp is 71C IINM. correct me. |

if 3.6ghz is too high, then can reach 265x13=3445mhz should be good.

QUOTE(tony @ Apr 13 2010, 11:47 PM) wow, this is impressive. 1.25V.. mine at 1.4V.. mean there is some room for me to lower it down..i gotta admit defeat.. 252x13 is the max i can go on stable, but the temp go over 60/61c and the fan like chainsaw cutting thru steal, very sharp, make my ear pain, so i lower it to 3120, load temp 58/59c.. but fan occasionally still damn noisy |

sorry..just realised TS talks about MSI 770-C45, i am using TA780G+ though.
Anyway, i disabled C&Q, manually set core speed to 13 X 240, and vcore. Yeah, it's running at 3.12Ghz all the time. |
