Hi all,
Would like to know what is the formal way for negotiator to get commission?
Do share out here on your special experiences in dealing with negotiator when closing the deal.
Let me start with the special experiences that i heard from frend:
Buyer & negotiator (on behalf of owner) already agree (say 200k) & put 2% booking fee & a purchase agreement with 200k stated as house price. Few days later, negotiator come back saying he would like to change the purchase agreement to 195k & buyer need to pay the balance 5k (200k -195k) to negotiator after signing S&P. Meaning instead of paying only 8% (the balance of 10%) during S&P signing, buyer need to pay 5k directly to negotiator as introducee payment. Instead of paying only 20k (10%), now buyer need to pay 19.5k + 5k. Negotiator keep saying owner cannot be trust & might end up owner wouldn't pay him the commission for selling the house.
now, do anyone here face the same issue here when dealing with negotiator? Please do share your experience here.
