i've measured useage in my home, since I share my 2mbps connection with my family, inc mum and dad who spend time mostly facebooking, and it coems to abt 1 GB per day as it is up and down. Just surfing. What's the point of offering high speeds, but such miserable download limits?? Ridiculous if you ask me. Definitely not gonna sign up for this if the packages stay as they are. Does anyone know if TM will lower the pricing for Streamyx as a result?

Moogle, why'd you want to subscribe to such limited packages with such low caps?

Ahh I see :-) My bad for assuming, hehe. Hope they really do improve the package offerings. Was thnking abt upgrading once they are available in my area Q3, but looks like I won't bother now

Just saw the channel package lsiting - so disappointing, what on earth do we want iptv for when it offers nothing at all in terms of value or entertainment

kundaichiz, if we compare to asean contries, we'd be far far behind even vietnam. Thailand broadband packages are so much more competitive and cheaper, never midn singapore!

Forgot to say that if we cast our gaze slightly further ot Japan or Korea (Asia), we're so far behind in terms of itnernet and broadband availabiltiy and access and speed, it isnt' even funny

truth is malaysia simply has fallen behind. They started off well with boradband with the MSC, then stagnated till everyone else in the world overtook us

Look at it this way - Malaysia has more natural resources (or HAD), had a head start as one of the first providers of broadband, yet, other countries, our closest neighbours, have overtaken us, to such a degree, that none of the packages can come close to matching theirs for competitiveness.
