Price for internet will always be cheaper and cheaper, and that pricing for the next few years, maybe it sounds very expensive, its suppose to come down. Unless you really have a good reason to get that bandwidth else its just a big waste of money. Imagine you pay double or triple the price for a car that can run double or triple speed but you always stick to the speed limit.

can any1 confirm my calculation ?
if i apply a 5mb line and to hit the 60GB(i assume not Gb) only need around 26.67 hours ? that means i pay for 1 full month and if i uses at the max bandwidth, i can only use up to slightly more than a day for every month ?

QUOTE(kundaichiz @ Mar 25 2010, 05:38 PM) don't compare with the advance country..it's not logic..plz compare with asean only.. I disagree with that, do you remember what is "wawasan 2020" ? we are suppose to be an "advanced country" by that year, and internet is the backbone of a country, if u cant provide what an advanced country can supply, we will never be able to reach that. Maybe they know we cant do it so they want to overwrite that with "1 Malaysia" ?

QUOTE(twL @ Mar 25 2010, 06:05 PM) i still can accept the price, the only problem is: 60GB maximum download per month. maybe already use to pay RM110 for 1mbps, so i think RM149 for 5mbps is reasonable.. just a own opinion. we are talking about cap, in 1mb line u have no cap, if you uses 24/7 with 1mb line, u can download 324GB per month(if speed is 100%) and if using that 5mb line, and 100% speed, in 26.67 hours, you reached the cap.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Mar 25 2010, 06:14 PM) I phoned up this number 1300881222 and asked if my place has unifi, and they said no. They check their unifi website but they cannot find availability for my place. But when i told them i found it on their site locator and it said it was available, they denied it. They also tried on their side but cannot find. Wtf??? if i can find it, but tmnut staff cannot, is the staff incompetent or on purpose? Should i call again or go to tmpoint myself to check ??? their system isnt up yet la, even the main page also got missing links, they are kelam kabut now, wait longer la, sooner the price will be revised.
