Prices are more expensive than I expected. I was planning to get 20Mbps, but I'll probably get 10Mbps now. Lame.

I still wouldn't trust scamboy completely. Let's just wait till tomorrow before bashing TM.

IPTV is provided locally through TMnets own servers. Thus it will not be counted.

Well if it's RM199 for 10Mbps along with the voice and IPTV, it seems worth it.

I think caps are good, but the current caps are too tight.
Double the current bandwidth cap and it would be near perfect. |

You can't compare with the United States. Bandwidth in the US is much cheaper than in Asia and Australia. Also, most downloads in the US are local. In Asia we rely on the AAG and several other links which connect Asia to the rest of the world. The capacity of these links are limited, and until more are developed, the price of bandwidth will remain relatively high.

Seriously, the 5Mbps business package without caps at RM199 sounds a lot better than 10Mbps with 80GB cap at the same price.

The reason why I'd prefer the RM199 5Mbps unlimited business package over the Streamyx 4Mbps package is because it uses fibre.

In the case of WoW, for once it's the servers that suck. Don't expect it to be much better with unifi or hsbb or whatever they've decided to rename it now.
Jesus, such a long hype leads to such disappointment. |

Sad, I live in TTDI so my condo is covered by Unifi or whatever, but it won't be available on Monday 29th March which is when the first HSBB Unifi installations will take place for people who have registered.
I'll have to wait 2 weeks. Lame. |

I just spoke to a unifi sales agent, she said that the monthly cap is not limited daily ie 60gb will not be restricted to 2gb per day. I don't know how reliable their staff is though.

Lol the unifi availability checker on their website fails. Apparently Sarawak has coverage too. Lol.

I don't believe that you can upgrade to biz5 if you are using it from home.

Only the download is capped correct? So Upload is unlimited and not counted into the monthly bandwidth cap?

The sales representative told me that the bandwidth will not be throttled once you go over your cap. Instead, you will be given bandwidth overage charges which means for every GB you go over your limit, you will have to pay an additional fee.
The actual overage charge rate is still unknown. |

As I said, this is just what the sales rep told me. You all know how reliable TMnet's sales reps are.
