aiyaya how to have discussion with people like you

Me: are you sure the actual BB user demographic are 4 users goreng one low tier line?
Azurues: you rich la, you don't talk
*
If i am rich i don't even have to look at the price.

I will just apply for the HSBB line of 20mb and still maintain streamyx 4mb line.

1 for download, 1 for normal usage.

Now bye bye

so that's why they didn't announce the price last night.. to avoid this kind of havoc during the event...

it's too damn pricey la for capping 60gb per month.. 512kbps is enough la if just wanna surf and checking emails.... zzzz........
*
people's TAX MONEY are put into this thing...it should be reasonable price or cheap.....not more expensive than most of other country even after currency conversion - -

Well, at least uploading won't make me hit my upload cap...

Download cap 60GB sounds damn sad la... but anyways I don't think I download that much in a month. Even if I download/stream 2GB of movies per day, I won't even have enough free time to be able to watch that much.

Downloading games on Steam however would definitely hit my daily cap (if the daily cap thing is true) sad.gif

Oh hang on a second. upload not counted toward cap ?? only download ??

So can still do webhosting and xdcc share and it won't affect your bandwidth quota isn't it biggrin.gif ??? someone correct me if i am wrong.
*
Yea, it won't, but if your download hits the limit, your upload is likely going to be capped to 1mbps as well.

However if you're doing a server, you're likely to be downloading about as much as you upload. Not to mention if we are going to doing metro-LAN shares, we would be uploading as much as we download due to the sharing.

If they made metro-LANs possible with HSBB that doesn't count to your quota, It would be enough for me to switch to HSBB, provided enough of us get onboard and share locally.

60gb download per month before capped to 1mb speed (download/upload supposedly). Then there is also mention of a daily quota you cannot exceed doh.gif not sure if that last is true or not.

Looks like they have a FAQ already. Here's one on installation fee

QUOTE
What are the charges like – installation fee, hardware rental, contract duration, etc?
There will be an initial promotion, waiving charges for standard installations and activations worth RM300. In addition, the standard package is inclusive of equipment worth RM800 that will be given free-of-charge to customers. No deposit will be imposed. Only monthly subscription fees for UniFi packages will apply. Telephony usage charges and any purchase of value added services will be charged separately. For more details, please visit www.tm.com.my . The duration of standard contracts is 24 months.
Now is promotion so installation and activation fee is waived. After that have to pay RM300? Wow...

A couple of pages back (well, probably MANY pages back by this point!) someone mentioned a 30% off package for TM staff. Before lunch, I called 100 and on the way to office stopped by at the TM centre in Cyberjaya. Both employees told me there are no staff packages for Unifi.

Mind sharing your sources? wink.gif
