After throttle, it'll be like Ferarri in KL traffic jam! Whoosh KL drift. Then motorcycle (Streamyx) will overtake the Ferarri! capping 1 mbps is too much.. I think they should throttle like 50% of subscribed package. And the price is still expensive!

RM199 for 5Mbps, unlimited + 10GB web hosting. For the business package.
If they ever implement any caps on streamyx, i ma gonna subscribe this package tqvm

for peak hour, it will be 90% speed, and non-peak will be 95%

Will they automatically charge you extra if you exceed??? Or do you need to personally tell them to lift the cap and charge you extra ???

If later i do subscribe, i don't want them to charge me extra having not realized i had already exceeded cap ;x

i personally think it's manual...since they have the thottle thing, i think this one only specific user might wanna do that, hence they offer such option...

oh ya also, in the important notes of their flyer mention, those with HSBB available now, will be FOC till June, yes it's very true, but after that, you will be bounded to 24 months contract, from the day u started using it, not June, and if u break the contract, the penalty would be <remaining months > x <monthly fee>
still not worth it IMO

Discount that from the business package, that's an average of Rm185 for 5Mbps line. W00t, thats cheap.
On the next malaysian quarterly report, "Small business growing in Malaysia!"

As to the loophole, I bet the marketing team realized this. Just that some Manager that become manager because he knows how to kiss asses decided to do something "different"
