If we bought a subsale without knowing that the previous owner being or going to be hogging by loanshark such as spray red paint etc, how are we going to protect ourself or our home? The loan shark could have found the previous owner hse? Please advise.

Tell them the people they find is no longer live here and proof to them by showing them the S&P if possible.

If they still continue, report police is the best way and temporary stay away from the house until everything is safe.

first protection: be WARY of property sold in a hurry and/or in a unbelievable low market price.

And its common practice to check out the neighbours and see whether they're nice or not before deciding to live there. While doing this (being friendly with potential neighbours), you can take the chance to ask them if there are anything fishy going on with the prop you're planning to buy.

Of course stay away from houses already painted RED all over in the first place smile.gif

opss... forgotten TS had already bought the house. Damage control would be, posting a signboard on the gate "XX no longer lives here. Don't waste your precious paint"
