Hmm ok, although I guess I'm still right at the assumption that you are a student. Where at?
*
You guessed because of I staying up very late?

Not really, just based on the general assumption that most people in here are students. That's just my assumption. MMU huh, you staying in college there? Miss my student days now..
*
Yeah staying there. Don't miss it. How long have you been working now? Study what?

Honestly speaking I have this very not so popular idea.
After I graduate from my first degree, I wanted to study another degree PART TIME, or getting PART TIME professional paper, which is 100% unrelated to my current course. Shared this idea with few, it seems weird to them. Any advice?

Jerome and cutejam - hope there's no such thing as too late for a degree?

Added on March 28, 2010, 2:04 amWell anyway it's just a plan. I can't say what will happen next. I just have to wait and see during the time for the best choice.

cutejam - when u don't enjoy something, the chance to do it good is very slim. it's very important to do things out of love, not out of for the sake of doing it.

nothing is ever too late. I guess thts why being single is a plus point. Once ur attached , family matters comes first and u might find it difficult to do what u want in life.

I plan to take up a second degree once im financially stable in 2-3  years but then time shall decide. People say its a waste of time since im a girl but heck i have ambitions and i would like to work my way there even if its only halfway through.
*
I'll say it's even more waste of time for guys? Say like this. I start a new job, freshly at the age of 30, just after completing my second degree. My salary? RM2000 for no experience at the age of 30 for a guy.

Yeah that's one of the consequences of prolonged study unless that degree can catapult you to a high place in your industry right after finishing it because it is such a niche degree..
*
which makes me think, 2nd degree MUST get 1st class.

Why the need to find a job very fast? Do you need the money so you have to or is it just anxiety over the possibility of not being able to land one?
*
Some people will feel useless without job? Like my dad, he told me that 2-3 days without work as very very boring. Sometimes on Sunday he would go to office. And he's hoping to retire not too soon. Workaholic, opposite of me. The quote "like father like son" doesn't work. tongue.gif

Or maybe you can try to make the best of whichever masters program that you can get?
*
Nah. My masters are very limited. I wanted to go for totally different direction. Masters are more like "upgrade" to current paper, considering the field i'm in.

cutejam - are u going to work in your current field before attempting to get 2nd degree?

jerome - that's the word, leap of faith. well, i don't see it that bad. let's say I suddenly find that new XYZ course is worse than my current course, then i can switch back to current field anytime, no? I don't see the reason to get myself stuck in one choice.
