The professor was coaching Johor FA la.. not Johor FC..
Got fired because of some management issues.. He was so outspoken in some internal issue and been sidelined for several month its a pity that a very good coach got sacked.. QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Mar 24 2010, 04:18 PM) |

Johor Football Club (Malay: Kelab Bola Sepak Johor) is a Malaysian football club based in Pasir Gudang, Johore. They play in the top division in Malaysian football, the Malaysian Super League. Their home stadium is the JCorp Stadium, Pasir Gudang.
Johor FC was founded in 1972 under the Sports Bureau of the Workers Union of Johor State Economic Development Corporation (Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor). Thus the team was then named Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor FC (PKENJ FC). The team started joining the local PBJB league since its foundation and was the regular winner of the league. In 1988, the team qualified for the FAM Cup. In 1994 and 1995, Johor FC won 2 consecutive FAM Cups, and was the runner-up in 1996. From 1997 to 2001, Johor FC played in the second tier football league in Malaysia, the Malaysian Premier League (which was then known as the Premier-Two League), and was the champion for the season 2001, thus earning promotion to the Super League for the following season. The thread is purposely created for JohorFC fans, to Johoreans forumer to discuss any related matters to Johor based club here. Apart from that, fan group of siber fans of JohorFC can be found by typing just JohorFC and you will find Kelab Penyokong Siber Johor FC (JohorFC.net) to join the group there. The JohorFC also have portal amongst forumers to gather virtually through internet and airing their ideas at http://forum.johorfc.net/, which you must register first before giving any reply or comment So,lets roll on guys.. Oh before that,if you were still new to domestic league,do not confuse with JohorFA and JohorFC,they are two different team. JohorFA meant for states and their homeground is at Stadium Larkin, while JohorFC run by the same company of KFC and Pizza Hut,which based at Jcorp Stadium Pasir Gudang. Both teams have their same loyal supporters called Southern Troop Ultras@UltrasJohor apart of its each fan club. In brief way, ultras and fan club objective to give supports to beloved team but ultras is a left wing or radical yet not applying hooliganisme. The ultras have their facebook group but each registration members have to go through stringent test before they be able getting their memberships approved. If you well known with german, italy or spain league, surely enough you have exposed to Ultras Cultures. Ultras is not another fan club, but it is bastion of the club in giving supports regardless of time. This post has been edited by am_7riel: Apr 12 2010, 06:32 PM |
