i read somewhere that galaxy s available with 8gb version as well. anybody know if it will come to malaysia?

thanks..nice comparison. after seeing my friend's desire with 2.2 froyo, now it became desirable than ever.my decision is mixed up again between desire and galaxy s.
still couldn't make my decision.

does using the launcher to run stock android can improve the response and make it quicker?

can tell me how much we need to pay to maxis for the 1st time to get galaxy s? is it 1699+(50+58)=1807? or need other payment?
and another thing, can me change my data plan within the contract period? i want to try 58 data plan for 1st month, and if it not sufficient for me, i want to upgrade to 78.

for me..
galaxy s got hummingbird cpu, 2nd front camera, Samoled, 16gb, 4" screen, 20mm thinner, 16g lighter,DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0, wifi N, and 100mAh more battery capacity than desire.

the drawbacks are no LED flash for camera, TouchWiz UI and physical design (sucks for some ppl), 'plastic' feel body, and 64mb less ram than desire.

as for the UI,i think u can get rid of it by using launcher or install custom rom like htc sense. about the 'plastic' body, i will use sleeve or pouch. about the LED and 64mb less ram, i can live with it. last thing, desire got 24month warranty but galaxy 18month. (from maxis)

can someone tell me where to get the sense ui launcher?

how much u guys pay for the upfront/1st time payment for the galaxy s package?does it require any deposit or other payment?
