i think Samsung is putting the Galaxy S up on shelves end of this month. refer to the text below. i sent them a query: Hello Samsung Mobile Malaysia,
I've notice that the Samsung i9000 Galaxy S is up on Samsung Mobile Malaysia's website under the 'Upcoming' section. It is stated there that the upcoming Galaxy S is equip with 16GB of internal capacity.
From what i know, Galaxy S comes in two versions, the 8GB and the 16GB.
My question is, although it is not stated there in your webpage, will it be possible if the 8GB versions will be brought in into Malaysia as well?
How soon will the Galaxy S be available for sale in Malaysia? middle of June? end of June? early July?
And is the Galaxy S bind for contract or will it be sold as SIM free phone in Malaysia?
Looking forward to your generous reply.
Thank you.
Regards, Awangand within 2 - 3 minutes, they replied Hi Awang,
Based on your previous enquiry about the Samsung Galaxy S, only the 16GB will be available in Malaysia for now. It will be available in the market end of this month, June. Galaxy S will also be sold with a contract with our operator.
Should you have any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
We hope we have answered your enquiry with satisfactory. Thank you.

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Jul 15 2010, 07:43 PM) Change yours to 2G and see how fast it takes. With 1 bar switching from 3G and HSDPA it may be possible the charge is going to that. Mine takes a full charge in about 2h odd. If you need 3G connectivity out of your home, then download a 2G/3G onoff widget to control it. Saves a lot of battery life IMO. MYstombox, mind telling the exact name of the widget? im having this 2G and 3G prob as well thanx in advance

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Jul 15 2010, 09:15 PM) Go to market, download load 2G-3G onoff by curvefish. The icon is here: http://curvefish.com/ for your reference. I have a few of their toggle switches on my device, the one that I find the most useful is actually the lockpattern onoff, when I going out, i switch the lockpattern on, at home i leave it off so I don't have to keep unlocking. thanx! ur such a big help!
