Piracy is surely not cool... But homebrew IS

TBH though once homebrew is possible, so will piracy. I wonder whether a balance will ever be struck. MAybe another 5 years in the future.

So who wants an UK 3DS? Or are you lot holding out for the US version? TBH games can get really cheap in the UK once they have clearance sales (except for Ninty games though - they never seem to have a price crash).

Quite poor, esp when compared to the DS lite. It's about 3-5 hours with most of the bells & whistles.

I nearly convinced myself to buy this on day one when I saw that Japan had sold out their pre-orders.

Then I thought, "if I was still in KL, it would cost me more than a month's rent to buy it". That helped put things in perspective.

I can wait. I can wait. I can wait x 10. (I can always look up Kyo if I really need one smile.gif )

150$ = RM460 direct conversion
But didn't the original DS sell for RM700+ during its early days?

It went for roughly RM900 when it was first launched. I bought my DS phat for RM890 then.

I'd advice you to stay clear - reviews are very power for it. But as long as you're not expecting it to last longer than the ori battery, I guess you'll be ok. Be sure you just the battery capacity of those 3rd party batteries to make sure that they're indeed larger than the 3DS one.
