Well since there isn't any thread for this title on 360 yet I'll just make one. There's one thing that has been bothering me for a while now, which version is better? I can't seem to get a fair answer to this because most of the time I get is: 1. PS3 - play original 2. PS3 - won't notice the difference (which means there is, but what?) 3. PS3 - no RROD 4. PS3 - free online 5. PS3 - BD I don't mind the PS3 version if it's superior though, just needed that unbiased clarification

The graphical difference is not noticeable, from what i've seen.
The rest like loading time, frame rate im not too sure.

Just go thru the tutorials, you'll get a hang of the battle basics soon enough.
And if you can, go thru some forums first, there are lots of damn good tips and tricks you might wanna know first before you tore half your hairs. Plus, you are going to dive into the forums sooner or later because the probability of getting stuck or can't beat one of the boss is pretty damn high.
For those who wanna breeze thru the game, don't wanna crack your heads (saving up brain power for study or work or chick), stay away from this game.

just a quick question, about charging weapon, is there any level like half charge or fully charged?
battle system is complex indeed.

xbox360 and ps3 graphic no difference ar? i never see xbox360 version yet, if got big difference like bayoetta again..then Resonance of fate is very typical J style RPG. Restrict movement but the fun part is after u master the new battle system in this game, which is the most challenge part too. if u r newbie to rpg..u may give up in the half way, but if u once u master the complex battle system inside..it is very cool game, and need strategic as well, no simply shoot shoot jump shoot.. . i play both j style rpg and western rpg, i like the beutiful artwork of resonance of fate.

I hate fanboy-ism, so I really want to counter all the statements there:
1. PS3 - play original You can do the same for Xbox, everyone(who's cool) does
2. PS3 - won't notice the difference Bayonetta. Done.
3. PS3 - no RROD Yeah, but YLOD. New Xboxes don't RROD anymore
4. PS3 - free online PS3 games are more expensive than XBox games apparently. So if you buy the same amount of games on Xbox as you would for PS3, there'd be just enough left over to buy a 12 month card.
5. PS3 - BD wat

Star Ocean 4 is torturing. Kinda phobia with JRPG already. Well, star ocean and magna is bit boring for me.. RoF.. Like evryone said... Once you master the technique and understand the gameplay.. Its an awesome game.. The game is kinda easy.. well, atleast in the first few chaps.. But from chap 3, its getting hard.. But You cant replay and die as many time you wan.. cuz need money.. lol..thats The only downside of it.. ) But..Seriously.. If you like small small side stories that talk about some casual life of the character have.. Which to me. It feels kinda like.. The end is coming but all you can do is go on with your life and not worry about it.. Cuz u can do nothing... And also the short cute cutscenes is kinda heartwarming I'd say, doing mini jobs and things like that.. Interaction btwn the members... If you like it, then You will like this game.. Be sure to buy the guide.. If you dun wana have a gruesome experience.. It helps allot allot!!! If not u will spend duno how many hours not knowing wat to do.. The fights have to depends on your fighting style.. And you have to think.. Cannot simply push button.. Verdict: A 9/10 from me.. This post has been edited by lilko: Apr 6 2010, 08:26 PM

Remember not to enter red squares battle recklessly... if can, save first, because there is no turning back, you NEED to beat the enemies. Most are easy enough, but some that offer bezel shards can be ridiculously hard, or simply impossible if you don't grind level and weapon at all.
I once stepped inside a square with three lvl74 giants, while my team is lvl4x, took me a dozen times to beat them, luckily.

Ok, actually you can finish the game without grinding, but you need to know how to play around the battle system, like how to draw fire to allow back shot, how to stop multiple enemies from firing by launch them into air with good timing, remember enemy hp to fully scratch multiple enemies in a single IS etc etc etc.
Anyway, i don't do arena that often, it's kinda boring, i just do all until 3 to unlock the next rank. The key is to level all three weapon skills. When i play missions, i use the main weapon, then when i grind for item i use secondary weapon. My secondary weapon skills are about 1/3 of my main weapon skill, ie machine gun 40, handgun 15, grenade 15.
There are a lot of items you need to grind, like ingredients for weapon parts and the city tiles, so they are plenty of chances you will level your secondary weapon skills.

The first few chapters can not be that hard... the standard method like at beginning, vesh with machine guns IS to left corner, then zeph with handgun IS to right corner, leanne initial tri-attack with vesh starting it, use jump shoot to break enemy parts if you are low on bezels, after the tri-attack, you can at least take out 3-4 enemies, and still with full bezels.

Don't get into critical condition, it usually means game over... Destroying parts, defeating enemies, breaking gauges refill bezel. Scratch damage heals over time too, a long distance IS can heal like 1/4 or 1/3. If one member is gang bang by multiple enemies, IS away if you can, concentrated firing must be avoided. Sending strong enemy to the air or smack down them will break their attack, can be life saving sometimes. Try to make use of these basics, then you can devise your own strategies

Added on April 11, 2010, 10:16 amjust wanna ask, does killing leader also give loot from other enemies? do we have to destroy parts first to get the loot b4 killing the enemy? or just killing it will also give us the parts?
